Day Eleven
Hey there. Walked 3.5 miles today. About halfway out it started raining, not hard but still wet. Found walking in the rain to be refreshing as I had, for me, a pretty good pace going. 47 minutes today. Also we need the rain as it has been pretty dry this spring.
Stretched for about 10 minutes because my legs felt tight. I think I ought to stretch more than before and after my exercise. Tonight my lower back is discombobulated, I can't seem to get comfortable. No pain or stiffness but just doesn't feel right.
I haven't had time to add any more links yet. The way things are going it will be Saturday or Sunday before I can sit down and figure it out. I'm technically challenged most of the time. Although I do enjoy trying to understand my computer better.
This run/walk program should take me into the middle of July. I should be able to run for 30 minutes and 3.5 miles. If I succeed, I plan to keep working for more time and distance, and eventually try a race to see how my competitive juices flow. But that's a ways down the line so I won't too much time thinking on it.
OK then. Will run for beer. Later.
