Day Twelve

Hey. Ran 3 minutes and walked 3 minutes for 5 cycles. Sorta hard today, as a I woke up, got dressed and went out. Wasn't really awake for the first 5 minutes or so. A little pressed for time is the only reason I did this. My weekend to work and the hours are not conducive to exercise.
Saturday and Sunday will days off as 12 hour shifts don't leave much time for all the things I do in life. Have to have a little family time. My drive time is one and a half hours and I like to get at least 7 hours of sleep otherwise I'm a crabola.
The run itself, once I woke up, was just fine. Actually felt pretty good when I finished. Went about 2.5 miles in 30 minutes and took about the flatest route I have where I live. Did some stretching and went off to work.
Thinking about trying to find a 5k race in September to try and see what I'm made of. Also sounds like fun if I can get to the point I can actually run that far. Just something to keep in the back of my mind as a goal to shoot for.
