One Good Week

Geez it's Saturday already! This past week has really flown by. So let's see here...Monday ran around the block in 48 minutes. No, I didn't see the eagle again. I wish. Nice run with sunny skies, 34 and a light and variable breeze. That was after I spent about 4 hours shoveling 2 1/2 feet of snow off the garage roof. One side of the roof.
Tuesday I finished the roof job and was too tuckered to run. Even though the weather was the same Monday I didn't have the energy to go.
Wednesday was another beautiful day and went 3 1/2 miles. A different route for a change of scenery. 37 minutes which is pretty darn fast for this old boy. Legs were a bit tight probably from standing on the garage roof at an angle for 8 hours.
Thursday went the 3 1/2 mile route again, which I call 'Walkabout Lane' route because I turn around at Walkabout Lane. The weather took a turn for the worse with drizzle and 33 and real foggy. Real foggy. I could see down the road maybe 1/4 mile. Some dumbass driving without lights I heard before I saw kinda foggy. Took a bit longer, 42 minutes, but I have no excuse as to why. I think my watch got wet or something. Yea right.
So, worked Friday and the rest of this weekend and that means no running until Monday. Haven't found out when the shift change in my career will happen, yet. And when it does when will I run. Morning or evening? I think it will be a dilemma for me. I'm not a morning person although I have had jobs where I went to work at 3am but I was a lot younger. If I run in the evening will it conflict with family time which is the main reason (for me anyway) I would change my shift. I'm not going to obsess over this until it actually happens. Just something for me to ponder in my spare time.
OK doky time for me to go. Will run for beer.
