Well, Its Wednesday

Decided to run a little cross country near my house. Gmaps Pedometer says the loop I ran is a little over 2 miles. It's up and down, twisty and turny, rocky and rutty, leafy and muddy. Did it in just under 30 minutes. Overcast damp and cool today. I broke a sweat running in the woods but when I got into the open I cooled right off. Wore my old shoes 'cause I didn't want the new ones muddied up just yet.
No pain in the left ITB which is good. And the right quads didn't whine too badly. Took a couple Ibuprofen about 2 hours before I went out and stretched a bit more. Warmed up nice and easy like all the books say. And it wasn't a bad day at all. Friday when I go I'll do the state park loop just to see if, maybe, Monday was simply one of those days.
I've been ready other running blogs when I find 'em. Some are helpful and interesting and others not. I enjoy Chocolate Runner's Blog. He just did the Detroit Marathon, something I have no desire to try, and finished. He seems to have way more physical issues than I do yet still keeps going. Maybe getting some inspiration from his writing.
All righty then. That's it for now. Will run for beer.
